Larry, Alfred’s best friend, streaked toward him. His rollerblades made their distinct grinding and clacking sound as he drew close to Alfred.
This was it. The first shot he would take in his first ever attempt at hockey.
Alfred tried to keep his eyes open as Larry shot the puck. He watched the yellow and purple colored puck come at him in slow motion. Then it hit him square on the chest. No pain.
Alfred smiled. He could get used to this.
