Petey watched the cockatiel as it moved side to side, chirping in its cage. As far as Petey was concerned, the bird was as annoying as his human’s youngest kid. Still, it looked very tasty.
Petey had eaten his share of birds before and considered himself a connoisseur, but he liked to imagine what they tasted like. He considered it a fun game. It was a whole lot better than that damn red light he couldn’t catch.
He shook his head, focusing his thoughts back to the bird.
If only that cage was open…
He licked his lips and mewed.
