The Right Stuff
“Nice car, man,” Mike walked along the side of the car next to his at the gas station.
Doug turned and smiled while continuing to pump gas. “Thanks. It’s my new baby.”
Mike nodded. “I bet it cost an arm and a leg.”
“Nah, just the down payment. But I saved for a year to afford it, so it’s no problem.”
Mike shook his head. “You say that now.”
An alarm went off in Doug’s head. “Why?”
“Cause you’re filling it with diesel, man. It takes gas.”
Doug’s eyes widened as he looked at the green pump and whimpered.
