Paula watched the officer in her rearview mirror and smiled.
“No, you are not thinking what I think you are, are you?” Janet looked at her friend, then the cop behind them. “Paula, this isn’t the movies. You can’t outrun the cops!”
Paula waved her hand. “Relax. It’s not like he pulled us over or anything. I’ll take off as soon as the light turns green. He won’t have a chance.”
Janet shook her head. “God, I thought your brother was the crazy one.”
