Doodling the Day Away
Tabitha looked up from her history book and studied the blackboard for a minute. She wasn’t having difficulty, she just didn’t feel like studying. To her, study halls were meant as a social time, not something to be wasted doing work.
Letting out a huff, she glanced to the side at the new boy in school. Smiling, she decided to doodle on her notebook, confessing her undying love for him.
Writing that nearly caused her to laugh, but she managed to swallow it.
“Who’s ‘Randy Studley’, Miss Franklin?”
Tabitha jumped at the sound of Missus Beaker’s voice.
“Uh… um… who?”
