Testing 1, 2, 3
Janet Townsend walked her normal path in front of the classroom as she waited for her class to finish looking over their tests. Judging from the sour faces, she knew her point was made.
“Okay, to start with, I’m not happy with your effort. I expected your writing skills to be better than last year. They’re not, so here’s what we’ll do.”
She noticed some of the students leaned forward hoping for a miracle. This wasn’t their day.
“Either you’ll put away your phones and work on your writing, or you’ll fail my class.”
Groans answered her.
“Open your textbooks…”
