Kevin felt the shake on his shoulder before hearing the voice.
“Honey, it’s five o’clock.” Doris, his wife of ten years smiled down at him.
He let out a sigh and opened his eyes. “What’s the weather like?”
“Sunny with a breeze.”
Of all the time for it not to rain… “Okay, I guess I’ll start mowing.” His back popped as he stood and stretched. He froze when he reached the door and saw the grass was cut. “Hon, who cut the grass?”
“The Thompson boys.”
“Why did you wake me?”
