Henry sat at the kitchen table as his wife paced back and forth, berating him for the millionth time.
“How are we going to pay for the kids’ college fund? Never mind about the mortgage…”
He had tuned her out shortly after she started, but he thought it best for her to get it out of her system. When he paused to rub her head, he looked up. “There is a bright side to all of this.”
“What bright side, genius? You lost our savings!”
“No, you did. Then you hung yourself. Insurance, remember?”
“You signed the papers.”
