Good morning everyone and welcome to this week’s Poetry Corner! Please join me in welcoming Mareeyerm Manko Ibraheem! 🙂
School by Mareeyerm Manko Ibraheem
So I looked deep down the heart of night
Through my cell rods
That separates my urge for freedom
With lengthy days
I stared down the barren keyhole
Lying lost amidst bundles of ideas.
How pathetic I was remembering
My vows to this prison
How I said I do, agreeing to be committed for
Better or worse
I will be fine, only when freedom knocks
But till then…
This bondage remains my solace
Awesome poem, Mareeyerm! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
