Good morning everyone! Please join me in welcoming back Vic Tomlinson and his poem, The Mountains.
The Mountains by Vic Tomlinson
The mountains are
so tall and steep.
I stare in awe as they
stair-step into the sky.
I want to reach out
and touch them and stick my fingers
in their sculptured trees.
If only I could stand on top of them,
and look down on the world.
If only I could dwarf them,
the way they dwarf me.
Awesome poem, Vic! Love the imagery. Thanks for sharing it!
