Good morning! Please join me in giving a warm welcome to Donny Barilla for this week’s Poetry Corner.
Reflections by Water by Donny Barilla.
I am the preamble to the constituted heart,
Thwack, a thud away from the healthiest of foams
Rising in my mouth,
Congealing at my nose,
I am the channel of the river bed.
The river consumes the tiny minnow,
As I swim, wade.
