Good morning everyone, and welcome to this week’s Poetry Corner. Please join me in welcoming back Vic Tomlinson! 🙂
Divorce by Vic Tomlinson
She knew her feelings
weren’t as strong, any longer.
She felt they
had drifted apart.
She filed for a divorce,
realizing it wouldn’t get better.
She experienced the guilt
of calling it quits.
She felt that emptiness
and feelings of grief.
She didn’t think she
would ever get over it.
Eventually, things will change
and those who have experienced it,
say the pain will lessen over time.
Wow. Awesome poem, Vic. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
