Good morning and welcome to the Poetry Corner! Please join me in welcoming Vic Tomlinson! 🙂
I Hear the Rain by Vic Tomlinson
I hear the rain
beating on the tin roof.
The pitter, patter calms
and relaxes me as I lay in my bed.
The rain gets heavier
and it grows louder.
I become accustomed
to the sounds and fall asleep.
When I awake, the soothing sounds are gone
and life still continues on.
Awesome poem, Vic! Thank you so much for sharing with us. 🙂
