Nearby, summer comes to a maddening halt,
the evening’s discourse smiles into fractures,
jaded fields pucker to the severing winds.
Hungrily, a couple sits on the patient dock
quietly, the moon croons through the lengthy night,
seashells empty upon a frothing water’s bed.
a mumbling kiss upon fattening thighs
-angrily, morning interrupts-
