Good morning and welcome to this week’s Poetry Corner! Please join me in welcoming back Vic Tomlinson! 🙂
Birds by Vic Tomlinson
Birds sing and chirp
as morning dawns.
They fly here and there
and alight in the trees.
They are music to my ears,
a cacophony of sounds.
The Mocking Bird is my favorite
for it imitates the others.
If only I could fly wherever I wanted,
and make those beautiful sounds.
Awesome poem, Vic, Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂 I can’t tell you how many times I dreamed of flying like a bird. An eagle is my favorite. There’s something so awesome about soaring without fear and seeing so much below. 🙂
