Off the Mark
“Damn it!” Tim slammed his goalie stick on the macadam driveway as another puck shot past him. “I can’t stop shit today.”
His friend, Seth, watched him and shook his head. “What’s different today than yesterday? Or tomorrow?”
Tim glared at him. “Ha. Ha. Very funny.”
Seth shrugged. “I thought so. Up for some more? It’s the only way to get out of your slump.”
Tim let out a breath. “Yeah, sure.”
Readying himself, Tim waited as Seth took the puck and came straight at him. At the last second, Seth deked to the left and shot.
