A Day at the Office
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Vicky rubbed her forehead as she stared at the message flashing on her screen.
Her cubicle neighbor and friend, Tabitha asked, “What’s wrong?”
Vicky waved at the screen. “Apparently, my facts aren’t important since I’m not an ‘expert’ according to corporate. I mean, what the hell is that about? I’m not a mechanic, but I know when my brakes aren’t working, you know?”
Tabitha nodded. “I know. Been there, done that. If it rocks their wordly belief, they’ll find any way they can to discredit you.”
“Yeah, I thought this time would be different.”
