A Pack of Lies
One of the things that really burned Sandy was being lied to. While she had come to expect it at work, she never thought her own mother would start.
The latest batch had to do with Sandy’s husband cheating on her. She knew her mother was lying because she had hired a private investigator. He told her he hadn’t found anything and showed her his notes.
As she fumed, she opened their bedroom door and stepped inside. “Harold, I…” Her voice trailed off at seeing her husband, mother, and private eye in bed together.
Her mother shrugged. “Told you, hun.”
