Dinner For One
Paul lifted his face from his plate. His lips were stained red. “This is good, Mom. Really.”
Regina smiled at him while twirling her hair between her fingers. “I’m so glad you like it. I tried a new recipe.”
Paul nodded as he went back to shoveling his food into his mouth.
Despite her best efforts, Regina could not get him to stop eating raw meat. He should have been off solid foods by now. Ghouls weren’t acceptable in their family, but she wanted him to be happy. They would just have to adjust, whether her husband approved or not.
