Good morning and welcome to this week’s Poetry Corner featuring Vic Tomlinson! 🙂
The Alcoholic by Vic Tomlinson
He stumbled into the bar
and he looked so bizarre.
He asked for a drink
although he was over the brink.
He slurred his words a bit
and he drooled and then he spit.
He downed his shot of liquor
and then he drank another, even quicker.
He stumbled out the door
and was never heard from, evermore.
Fantastic poem, Vic! Thanks for sharing! 🙂 I used to be a drinker and knew a few that fit into this poem perfectly.
Keep up with Vic by following him on:
