Monica stretched and looked up at the stars above. Few things in the world compared to a perfect night sky. It was one of the reasons she loved living away from the city. With fewer lights polluting the sky, she could see so much more.
She chuckled at remembering seeing the Big Dipper for the first time yesterday. Sighing, she nestled deeper into the hammock. Maybe I’ll sleep out here tonight.
Her phone ringing broke the silence, and after looking at who was calling, she cursed. Her parents were another reason she was glad to be out of the city.
