The cold wind pierced his jacket, forcing him to pull it tighter around his neck.
He hated the cold, and couldn’t figure out why his friend wanted to meet here instead of inside somewhere.
Huffing, he turned at the sound of footsteps. “About time you got here, you ass.”
“Sorry, man,” his friend said. “I thought it would be best.”
His friend smiled, display elongated canines. “Lunch.”
He shook his head and laughed as his eyes shifted to yellow and fur grew out of his skin. “Damn, I wasn’t gonna hunt you, but now…”
