“Give me another, Mike.” Dave motioned to his empty mug.
Mike shook his head as he refilled the mug. “Getting a bit expensive, ain’t it, Dave? You usually don’t buy more than a couple before heading out.”
Dave shook his head. “It’s over, man. I screwed up big time.”
“I met this new girl, right? I mean, she’s gorgeous and smart. Better than my usual, you know? Anyway, I saw her hugging a guy, so…”
Mike knew what was coming. Some stories never changed.
“I punched him.”
“And?” As if he had to ask.
“He was her brother.”
