Good morning and welcome to this week’s Poetry Corner featuring Vic Tomlinson! 🙂
The Storm by Vic Tomlinson
The thunder rumbles
and my stomach tumbles.
The lightning flashes
and I rub my lashes.
I run to the car,
but it’s way too far.
The water is pouring,
but it’s not boring.
I finally decide to enjoy the rain,
and I realize there is no pain,
but lots to gain.
Awesome poem, Vic! It’s amazing how fast something can happen when we don’t expect it.
Keep up with Vic by following him on:
