“There, turn there. Awe, you missed it.” Sam threw himself back in his seat and shook his head.
“Relax, I like another way. We’ll get there.” June smiled at him as calmly as she could, fighting the urge to smack him.
“Yeah, I know. And we’ll get lost and get there late.”
June rolled her eyes. “We’re only late when we take you’re driving. I get us there on time.”
“Pfft. Maybe if you’d offer suggestions.”
“Why? You don’t listen to me at home, why would you start here?”
“What? I always listen.”
